The Wallis Spirit Dragon Club was affiliated into Dragon Boats NSW on 15th November 2011.
We are proud to the the 55th Club in NSW.
We are based on the Mid-North Coast of NSW and we paddle on the beautiful Wallis Lake.

What Kind of Club are We?

We are a mixed gender open-age, friendly club. 
​We have paddlers who are keen to participate in regattas and others who just want to get fit and have fun without the pressure of competition. We have plenty of room for all motivations.

How did we decide on
​our Club name?

The thinking that informed our name was...
  • Wallis, rather than Coomba so that we included interested paddlers from other areas on the lake such as Pacific Palms i.e promoting community spirit
  • Wallis Spirit – spirit of the Lake
  • Spirit Dragons – spirit of the Chinese Spirit Dragon
  • Spirited – the way we intend to paddle
Wallis Spirit Dragons seeks to increase participation in the sport of Dragon Boating in the community of Coomba Park and Pacific Palms by encouraging people of all ages form 11 to 111 and of all fitness levels, to seek healthy activity, social interaction, teamwork and, for those interested, competition.
